Ms. Lane's latest writing accomplishment is a soon-to-be-published biography that brings to life the turbulent and rich story of an amazing, 85-year old woman's life. This gutsy woman, of African-American and Cherokee Indian descent, grew up in the deep South in the 1920s with her stern stepmother and kind father at a time when personal limitations, racism and weekly lynchings were a way of life.

Throughout the book-writing process, and to the writer's delight, her client reviewed chapter after chapter exclaiming "Pam, this is exactly the way it happened! It's like you were walking in my shoes." Can you imagine a greater compliment?

As my client's life story revealed itself, long-buried memories came flooding back. She found renewed pride in past accomplishments and opportunities to express gratitude to those who'd made the greatest impact on her life. She also discovered opportunities to honor her Native American father, his belief in the Great Spirit and his love and respect of the earth and all its inhabitants.

And, no life would be complete without acknowledging wrong turns taken. But as a result of this woman's biographical journey, she gained unexpected compassion for herself and others. As a result, today, she enjoys a new sense of serenity, and believes this peaceful sense of completion couldn't have come about any other way.
Ms. Lane's signature writing style seizes readers' attention, draws them into the story, then rewards them with fresh insights, vivid images, lasting impressions and food for thought. Over the years, her skills were honed at advertising agencies including Saatchi and Saatchi; Della Femina, Travisano; Keye, Donna, Pearlstein and McManus, John & Adams, to name a few.
